Going up The Narrows at the north end of the main canyon is my favorite hike in Zion.
More than half the journey is in the Virgin River itself... the coolest place to be on a hot day...
Walking on slippery rocks in cold moving water, sometimes waist high, depending on the weather and season,
seems to deter most of the looky-loos leaving you with the ever-changing beauty of the canyon to enjoy in peace.
You can't take more than a few steps without wanting to capture the image and save it to enjoy over and over...
